Louhi is a classic character in Finnish mythology.

In the original tradition, she is a powerful shamanic goddess, the one who steals the sun and moon and brings in the long winter - a necessary antihero who brings balance to the world. We pull from her story in creating the set and setting for our winter garden, a place of peace, balance, darkness, and light.
